Investment risks & important information
Last updated: 8 October 2026
Risks vary by transaction
- Capital and credit risk: an issuer, borrower or counterparty may fail to meet its obligations. Security does not guarantee recovery.
- Liquidity and exit risk: there may be no ready market, an exit may be delayed, and transfers may be restricted.
- Valuation and forecast risk: valuations can be uncertain. Forecasts, targets and past performance do not guarantee future results.
- Leverage and concentration: borrowing and exposure to a small number of assets, sectors or counterparties can magnify losses.
- Currency, jurisdiction and tax: exchange rates, local law and tax treatment can change the outcome for an investor.
- Execution risk: productions, developments, acquisitions and commercial projects can face delays, cost overruns or revenue shortfalls.
- Fees and conflicts: fees, related-party interests and allocation decisions may affect returns or create conflicts. Review transaction-specific disclosures.

Access is not a regulatory determination
Signing in, receiving an invitation or being assigned a deal does not establish eligibility for a legal exemption, professional-client status or suitability. Any required classification, investor statement, promotion approval, verification or cooling-off process must be completed separately where applicable.
Regulatory protections
Do not assume that Financial Services Compensation Scheme protection or Financial Ombudsman Service access applies. Coverage depends on the firm, activity, investment and investor circumstances. No claim about GFC’s FCA authorisation or a particular exemption is made in this review version; the position must be verified and disclosed before launch.
No transaction through the dashboard
The portal records information and distributes documents. It does not execute subscriptions, receive investment payments or replace executed agreements. A recorded commitment, funded amount or distribution must be reconciled with the underlying transaction documents and records.
